Professional Experience:
Kateryna Garbuz is the Head of Legal Practice at EBS, which is a leading consulting firm that has been operating in Ukraine since 1998. It was created as a one-stop consulting center, specifically designed to hold the hand of newcomers to the market, assist in the development and solving everyday challenges met by Ukrainian companies and international investors.
Katerina has over 10 years of practical experience in commercial, corporate and employment law.
Her specialization focuses on foreign investments, corporate governance and corporate issues, tax and financial legislation, corporate and administrative dispute resolutions and litigations. Katerina is a consultant for both foreign and large domestic clients on various aspects of doing business in Ukraine, including corporate, commercial, regulatory, competition and labor issues. She has taken part in different projects, related to: start-ups in Ukraine, registration of representative offices, drawing up of all types of agreements, obtaining different kinds of permits and licenses, resolving disputes with tax, customs and control state authorities, etc. She has supported large foreign firms entering the Ukrainian market.
